Commander Ken Gregory (Ret.)
Commander Gregory has 36 years of law enforcement experience. During his career with the Orlando Police Department and the Orange County Sheriff's Office, he served as a patrol officer, police canine handler, traffic enforcement and traffic homicide investigator, Watch Commander and Emergency Response Team Commander. He is a Mobile Field Force instructor and a graduate of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement Civil Disturbance Command School. He has served as an advisor for the Florida Sheriff's Association and other Central Florida law enforcement agencies for civil disorder and crowd control events. He is an instructor for the National Tactical Officers' Association and has trained in England with the Metropolitan Police of NewCastle on Petrol Bombs and Public Order. He is the owner of LETR LLC.
Sergeant Donald Maddox
Sgt. Maddox has been with the Orange County Sheriff's Office for 19 years. He has been a member of the Emergency Response Team for 18 years and currently oversees its daily operations and coordinates all ERT training. He has held several positions on the ERT including Team Leader and Grenadier Team Leader. Since its inception in 2004, he has also been a member of the Special Response Team, which serves in conjunction with the OCSO SWAT Team. He has an extensive background in chemical and less lethal munitions and mobile field force instruction. Sgt. Maddox is an instructor in firearms, petrol bomb and WMD awareness, and PPE operations. He is a former member of the Florida Sheriff's Association Task Force for Civil Unrest and Tactical Operations, having served in that capacity for five years. He is an instructor for the National Tactical Officers' Association. He is a lead instructor for LETR LLC.
Commander Bruce McMullen
Commander McMullen has been with the Orange County Sheriff's Office for 16 years and currently serves as a Watch Commander in the Uniform Patrol Division. He formerly served on the Emergency Response Team as a Field Commander and additionally served on OCSO's Special Response Team. His extensive background with ERT and his skill base as related to this field includes Field Force Operations Instructor and Level C PPE Instructor. Additionally, Cmdr. McMullen has been certified by the Metropolitan Police of NewCastle, England on Petrol Bomb Tactics and Public Disorder.
Captain David Ogden
Dave Ogden is a 21-year veteran of law enforcement, where he currently holds the position of Captain. He is considered a subject matter expert in use of force and training issues and has testified in multiple civil and criminal cases for his agency. Dave has an extensive tactical background, spending 14 years on the OCSO SWAT Team, where he served as a Team Leader and the Lead Defensive Tactics Coordinator. His tenure also included areas in the Bike and Tactical Units, Patrol, Narcotics and Training Divisions and Motors Section. He served as the Training Coordinator for his agency, where he was responsible for generating and developing the training curricula, use of force and all high liability areas for nearly 2000 employees. Dave has lectured on use of force training and self defense across the nation.
Dave has been a personal martial artist for 23 years, holding Black Belt Degrees in Multiple Karate Styles as well as Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He has competed in local, state and international tournaments in the United States and Brazil. Dave believes in "law enforcement fighting" and has integrated his unique background of defensive tactics, ground fighting and martial arts skills into a complete law enforcement system.
Sergeant Kent Workman
Sergeant Kent Workman is a 17-year veteran of the Orange County Sheriff's Office and currently serves in Uniform Patrol as a Shift Supervisor. He has been a member of the OCSO SWAT Team for 10 years, and is now a Team Leader and Special Grenadier with that unit. He is a Firearms Instructor and former supervisor of the BADGE Program. He has conducted extensive in-service training in Move to Contact for Active Shooters and continues to serve his agency in that capacity.
Sergeant Robbie Atkinson
An Orange County, FL native, Sergeant Rob Atkinson has served as a law enforcement professional for 26 years. His career has included assignments in Uniform Patrol, SWAT, Tourist Oriented Policing, Bike Patrol, Tactical Anti-Crime Unit, Training and Investigations. Sergeant Atkinson has specialized for the past 15 years in Emergency Management where he has been responsible for developing agency response plans and training personnel on response to critical incidents. In addition he has shared his training and experience with all segments of the community -- from educational institutions to the tourism industry. He has been involved in responses to hurricanes, including Hurricane Katrina in Mississippi, officer involved shootings, wildfires, missing persons and special events. Sergeant Atkinson was a full-time professional firefighter/EMT prior to his career in law enforcement.
